Do Honda Pilots come have cross bars for the roof rack from the factory, and my grandpa decided "fuck this kid" and kept them, or did it just straight up never have them?

I don't think that is an option that comes on a "fully loaded" vehicle. They are optional accessories so you would have to specifically add the cross bars to the car. the roof rails would come standard on the highest trim even though you can get the car with out the roof rails

I'm guessing it wasn't ordered with them. It was probably a dealer installed option.
